Buckinghamshire stretches from the outskirts of London towards the Midlands.

Buckinghamshire is home to the impressive Chiltern Hills and also the picturesque River Thames.

Milton Keynes Shopping Centre is one of the largest in Europe and attracts a staggering 31 million visitors every year. A new £30million Theatre and Gallery were opened in 1999. The £57million leisure complex Xscape opened in 2000 and hosts one of the largest indoor real-snow ski slopes as well as a multi screen cinema complex.
Milton Keynes is now also home to Wimbledon Football club.

Although Milton Keynes is a modern town it embraces a vast number of pretty and unspoilt older villages. It even boasts a Roman villa at Bancroft and flint tools have been found in the area dating back as far as 6000BC!
